About Us

After a chance meeting during a Regina garage sale, SLUG formed as four like-minded adult hobbyists in 2009. They began exhibiting at local Train and Hobby shows, and upon hearing about other adults with similar interests, travelled to Saskatoon to recruit four more builders. SLUG began to grow as more Adult Fans of LEGO® (AFOLs) heard about the group, now being made up of members from around the province. Over the years, SLUG has stretched from Melfort to Estevan and Swift Current to Grenfell with members returning to the hobby to those who’ve never left!
